GLASSY WONDERS is the first book to describe natural glasses (of volcanic and impact origin) worldwide and in our galaxy. In addition to well-known tektites such as moldavite and indochinite, many impactites unknown outside the geology community are also presented. Text contributions come from experts in this field: Christian Koeberl (impact researcher/former general director of the Natural History Museum Vienna, Austria) and Aubrey Whymark (tektite specialist, senior wellsite geologist and geosteerer, Manila, Philippines).
